Terms and Conditions: Pedigree ‘Dentastix Get Closer Contest’


By participating in the Dentastix Get Closer Contest, you accept and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions, and are legally bound by these terms and conditions mentioned below.

• The Dentastix Get Closer shall start on 7th July, 2016 and continue till 21st July, 2016. Entries will be accepted till 21st July, 2016.
• Any resident citizen of India of adult age can participate in this contest. Officers and employees of 'Mars International India Private Limited' and agencies associated with this Contest, and their immediate family members (parents, brothers/sisters, spouse, and children) are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
• To participate in this contest, a person has to visit the Facebook page of Pedigree India , 'Like' the page and enter the contest and accept the terms and conditions. Participants must enter with an original Facebook id to participate in the contest. Participation in this Contest is open to all Indian citizens.
• Sending multiple entries is allowed.
• Each answer/entry should:
  • Be a post/comment mentioning #GetCloser
  • Comment has to be in context to the subject which is given on the announcement post and the Participant is expected to share images in their replies on the announcement post and follow the steps laid down in the Participation post.
  • The entry should not contain any demeaning, abusive, profanity, hate speech, obscenity, etc.
• 50 Dentastix monthly packs, 3 iPod shuffles and 1 iPhone 6S will be given away as prizes.
• Participants must ensure that their entry/submission is made within the above mentioned Contest Period. The Program is available for the above Contest Period only.
• Selection of the winners will be done by 'Mars International India Private Limited' and / or its associates and shall be final & binding on all participants.
• Any participant found to be manipulating, or forging the results through unlawful or unethical means shall be disqualified.
• The prizes (as mentioned above) being offered in the Contest being subject to the warranty of the manufacturer and that Mars cannot be held responsible in any manner for defects, features or malfunctions.
• The contest has been organised by 'Mars International India Private Limited' and managed by Hungama Digital Services a professional agency.
• Winners will be asked to inbox (for Facebook) their contact details and address
• The names of the winners would be declared on the Facebook of Pedigree India. Upon announcement of the winners, the winner will be required to provide his/her acceptance/rejection of the prize within 48 hours through messaging the page, on receiving information about his/her winning the contest. Failure of the winner to communicate the acceptance or rejection within the time frame entitles the Organiser to disqualify the winner and replace them with another eligible participant.
• The prize details will be sent as a Facebook message to the winners by Pedigree India. The prize will be given only to the winner in whose name the entry has been made. The winner shall produce documents to prove his/her identity and age proof at his/her own cost. The prizes shall not be transferable / redeemable against anything in cash or kind.
• If a Participant has won the Contest but does not wish to take the Contest Prize, 'Mars International India Private Limited' will not alter whole or any part of the Contest Prize. Under no circumstances can any portion of the Contest/Prize be converted into cash whether by way of refund or otherwise.
• The Contest Prize shall not be transferred or sold, and will be exclusively for the Winner.
• 'Mars International India Private Limited' reserves the right to change the Contest/Prize at any time without any prior notice or consultation.
• 'Mars International India Private Limited' is not responsible to the Participant or to any other party for compensation as a result of the above-mentioned actions or any other breach of these terms and conditions. It shall be the Participant's responsibility to ensure that a valid name, e-mail address, phone number or any other details required by 'Pedigree India' page is provided.
• The prizes shall be given to the winner subject to compliance with all applicable statutory legislations/ processes /formalities in connection with the prizes and on production of all such documents/papers as may be required by Organiser before the handover of the prizes. Any failure on the part of the winner to comply with directions issued by Organiser for claim of prizes shall entitle Organiser to forfeit the prizes.
• Each Participant's personal information may be disclosed to governmental or regulatory bodies if the same is required by law, rule or regulation or in response to a valid order of a court or authorized agency of the government or other legal process.
• Organiser is not responsible for any tangible or intangible loss, injury or damage to Participant or any other person related to or resulting from entering this contest. Organiser reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion from time to time where reasonably required or can withdraw the contest at any time.
• The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, FACEBOOK / Twitter and FACEBOOK / Twitter has no association or jurisdiction over this contest.
• The decision of Organiser about the contest shall be final and binding upon all participants.
• All disputes regarding the Contest shall be decided and resolved by the Managing Director of Mars International India Private Limited and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi

• Participation to this contest is voluntary. Organiser or any of its group entities or affiliates, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal loss or injury that may be suffered by a participant and/or any third party, directly or indirectly during this contest.
• Participants expressly agree to comply and abide by all the applicable laws, rules, regulations, guidelines etc. relating to or governing this contest.
• By participating in the Contest, each Participant acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions herein and all related terms and conditions governing the Contest/ Game.
